There are SO MANY people my sister and I have gotten to know over the years and are super grateful for. It has been a long and difficult journey. - Lynn Burnish8/25/2023I am disabled and recovering. I went to see a friend, after coming out of Optalis nursing facility a bit ago myself. Aerius has 24 hour access to order and receive food. CNA Gina offered me some ice water and showed me to my friends room. Also told my friend was sleeping. I did see my friend, got compliments from residents on my walker, and ice water to go, as sunny & 88 outside. Jennifer was her favorite aid and treated her like her own grandmother, going out of her way each day for special care and kindness. Mary her nurse was professional and caring and always had a "hello" how are you when we came in each day. The kitchen staff welcomed us as we asked almost daily to microwave some of her favorite foods we would bring in and eat in the community room. Its bright and clean and the lobby looks like a hotel. You can order food 24/7. You arent left wondering if someones going to come if you need them because they will. Everyones cheerful and helpful. Everyone was very nice to me and took very good care of me from all the nurses and aids to all my PT and OT people. It felt like I was handing her care to family because that’s how they have treated my mom and my whole family. From Michelle Terry down to the house keepers every one is absolutely amazing. I was able to sleep knowing my mom was getting care from people that truly treated her like family and they treated her with the highest dignity and respect . I can’t thank everyone there enough for everything they have done for my mom. If I could give this place higher than 5 stars I absolutely would. They have been a god send. So when she had a massive stroke in August, she unfortunately lost control of her left side and needed skilled rehabilitation. When I looked into Aerius, the place was new, clean, and very well maintained so we chose it. I was so worried and scared that I wouldn’t be able to see my grandma but through a window. The staff made me feel so at ease. Her blinds are always open so I can see and talk to her through the window. She is always happy and clean looking. The staff treat her like family. The therapists are amazing and even play music for her to jam to during her therapy sessions. I can sleep at night knowing that my grandma is getting phenomenal care. Everyone from the administration to the nursing assistants are wonderful.
